A group of protestors has been fined under the Public Health Act, after an incident this past weekend.
Saskatoon Police say they received several complaints regarding a group of people that were at several downtown businesses to protest the wearing of masks.
Police say in consultation with Public Health Inspectors, they have issued a $2800 fine to one of the key participants.
The investigation to the incident is currently ongoing, this is the first charge by the Saskatoon Police under the Public Health Act.
