The City of Saskatoon says its downtown water main project is moving into its final phases along 25th Street East.
A public service announcement from the City says the intersection at 2nd Avenue North has fully reopened, while 6th Avenue is open to westbound traffic.
Eastbound lanes there are expected to reopen October 23.
Several closures remain.
First Avenue is expected to reopen October 20, while 3rd and 4th Avenues are scheduled for October 23.
Fifth Avenue at 25th Street will close this Friday and is expected to reopen October 30.
Crews are continuing excavation and restoration work ahead of resurfacing.
The final water main replacement between 6th Avenue and Spadina Crescent could extend into 2027, depending on weather and construction progress.
