Environment Canada says to expect a mix of rain and snow for Thanksgiving Monday for much of southern Saskatchewan.
Areas impacted include in and around the Trans-Canada Highway and south to the international border. While a mix of rain and snow is in the forecast there is a potential for 5 to 10 cm of wet snow accumulating tonight through the end of Monday.
Temperatures are expected to linger near the freezing mark today with some communities beginning with rain before switching over to wet snow and tapering off tonight.
ECCC warns travel conditions could deteriorate quickly due to a combination of accumulating snow, sudden poor visibilities, and icy patches.
When skies clear on Tuesday, any fallen snow will swiftly melt away as temperatures rebound for the remainder of the week.
