Joanna Arnott and Liz Whitbread join me in studio to talk about the upcoming Live Five Theatre production Southern Dandy 75 coming up October 15th to 25th at Studio 914.

Southern Dandy 75 is the ‘old timey story of Two Boxcar Ruffians, who unwittingly find themselves in possession of the finest and rarest bourbon whiskey – The Southern Dandy 75. With craft, honey tongued rhetoric and the help of an unexpected alliance, the two hobos make off with the entire supply. Naturally, their pleasant Sunday afternoon soon derails as the two fellows find themselves on the run from all manner of dangerous and surly adversaries. Meanwhile, it’s election day, and the fate of the town rests in the decision between ‘mostly good’ and ‘just plain villainous’.

Southern Dandy 75 is a comedy of a fanciful nature, fuelled by adventure, poetry, music and booze.
