Melville RCMP are investigating a fatal collision that claimed the life of a 73-year-old woman.
A Saskatchewan RCMP news release says a vehicle struck a pedestrian on Highway #10, about nine kilometres northeast of Melville, at approximately 7:10 p.m. on October 2.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver remained on scene and, along with a passenger, was assessed by E-M-S.
The investigation is continuing with assistance from a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist and the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service.
