Wakaw RCMP are asking the public for help in finding two wanted men.

On September 16 around 2:50 pm Wakaw RCMP received multiple reports related to two-armed men on One Arrow First Nation.

Wakaw RCMP responded and One Arrow First Nation enacted a community lock down.

An investigation determined that an altercation happened between the two men, after which both men left the area on foot. Both men had a firearm, but they were not discharged, and no injuries have been reported to police in relation to the incident.

Both men have been identified and have not been located.

As a result of investigation, 18-year-old Shakobey Sanderson and 23-year-old Bruce Matchap, both from One Arrow First Nation, are each charged with:
” one count, pointing a firearm
” one count, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

Bruce Matchap is additionally charged with three counts, fail to comply with release order condition

Warrants have been issued for Shakobey Sanderson and Bruce Matchap’s arrests. Wakaw RCMP continue work to locate them and ask the public to report sightings and information on their whereabouts.

” Height: 6’0″
” Weight: 165 lbs
” Eye colour: brown
” Hair colour/style: black

” Height: 6’0″
” Weight: 180 lbs

” Hair colour/style: black
” Other descriptors: multiple tattoos on his face

Bruce commonly goes by the name “BJ”.

If you see Shakobey Sanderson or Bruce Matchap, do not approach them. Report any information about their whereabouts, or about this investigation, to Wakaw RCMP or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
