Forty-four community partners will receive provincial grants for suicide prevention.
The focus will be on training and skills development, increasing awareness of available resources, reducing stigma and help communities take action.
The funding total more than $400,000 with each successful application receiving up to $10,000.
Applications were accepted from community-based organizations, Indigenous communities, school divisions and municipalities.
