Members of the Saskatchewan Marshals Service arrested David Faucher at a business in Prince Albert this week.

Faucher was wanted by RCMP in Newfoundland and Labrador on a Canada-wide warrant for first degree murder in connection with a 2023 homicide.

Following an investigation based on information received from the public, Faucher was located and taken into custody.

RCMP say arrangements are being made to transfer Faucher back to Newfoundland and Labrador.
