Kindersley RCMP say a pick up and a semi truck collided at approximately 4:25 p.m. on Tuesday.

The accident took place on Highway #7 approximately six kilometres west of Marengo and the driver of the pick-up truck was declared deceased by EMS at the scene. He has been identified as a 63-year-old man from Sylvan Lake, Alberta.

The driver of the semi-truck did not report physical injuries to police.

Kindersley RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
