Saskatoon will see some seasonal changes begin on buses across the city today.
These changes include more frequency and capacity on busy routes, restored schoolyear and peak-period service, improved reliability and schedule performance, and service adjustments that support growing demand from students, commuters and other transit users
The fall service changes coincide with students returning to school and are meant to match changing travel demands, improve reliability and on-time performance, restore school-year service levels and add capacity where ridership is expected to increase.
Saskatoon Transit also reminds resdiants that fall is one of the busiest times of year for the bus. It’s recommended that people check their route and schedule online beforehand, leave extra time during the first week, and have alternate trip times as a back-up if their ideal trip is full.
