There will be road restrictions in place on Sunday in the downtown area for most of the day because of a car show.

The Saskatoon Police Service is reminding residents to be patient and be cautious when driving downtown because of the increased number of people, particularly on 8th Street.

The SPS adds that there will be a high-profile presence downtown, on 8th Street, and in adjacent parking lots over the weekend to ensure traffic and pedestrian safety. More road restrictions may be put in place to facilitate a safer flow of traffic as needed.
