The Saskatoon Police Service say one man has died after an industrial accident Wednesday afternoon.

The accident in the Meadowgreen neighbourhood happened shortly before 2:00 p.m. in the 3000 block of Meadows Parkway.

Police say the man was working on a construction site when he was struck by a piece of heavy equipment.

The 41-year-old victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. Police will not be releasing the victim’s name.

Occupational Health and Safety and Saskatoon Police continue to investigate.
