A 31-year-old Prince Albert woman has been arrested and faces five different charges in connection to a Sunday traffic stop that led Prince Albert RCMP to seize cocaine, methamphetamine and weapons.

Brianne Weber was remanded into custody and appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court Tuesday on charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, operation of a conveyance while impaired and possession of property obtained by crime over five thousand dollars.

According to a Saskatchewan RCMP news release, officers with the Prince Albert detachment were conducting patrols Sunday on Highway #2 in the R-M of Buckland when they observed a speeding vehicle swerving and executed a traffic stop. An oral fluid test on Weber showed she had recently consumed cocaine, leading to her arrest.

A search of her vehicle turned up about 55 grams of cocaine, 11 grams of methamphetamine, a sum of cash, trafficking paraphernalia and a can of bear spray (pictured). Further investigation led to a search warrant being obtained and executed at Weber’s residence in Prince Albert where another 200 grams of cocaine, trafficking paraphernalia, a large sum of cash and an imitation firearm were located and seized.
