Yorkton RCMP have confirmed a missing 59-year-old man has been found deceased.

Kelvin Prychak, of Yorkton, was reported missing on Thursday after he was last seen Tuesday on Cherrydale Road in the city.

In an update issued Fridy evening, RCMP said Prychak has been located deceased and that his family has been notified.

Police say that, based on the preliminary investigation, the death is not believed to be suspicious.

RCMP are thanking the public and the media for their assistance during the search.
