The Saskatoon Police Service has arrested a 16-year-old male and charged him with assault with a weapon in connection to a bear spray incident last month.

According to an S-P-S news release, the incident occurred at about 5:40 p.m. on June 9 in the 1400 block of 20th Street West. At that time, responding officers found multiple people suffering from the effects on bear spray. The suspect had fled the scene, but it was believed that he and the victims were known to each other.
