At 8:45 p.m. on Monday the Saskatchewan RCMP issued an advisory that the dangerous person alert for Pelican Narrows and surrounding area was cancelled in the wake of making an arrest.
A suspect was arrested at a home in Pelican Narrows around 7:07 p.m. The alert was issued after a shooting near the local health clinic in Pelican Narrows on Monday around five hours earlier. The incident did not occur at the clinic, and RCMP officers located two people who were injured. One of the victims has died while the other is seriously injured.
The RCMP are not providing any more identification details at this time. The shooting incident remains under investigation.
