With the AMA’s tonight, here’s a fun throwback from the ACMs.
Back in 1994, Alan Jackson was told to perform with a backing track.
Alan hated the idea, but since he was contractually obligated, he protested by sending his drummer out with NO drumsticks.
The drummer just flailed away to the pre-recorded track like nothing was wrong.
Dolly Parton has been co-owner of Dollywood for 40 years.
The country music icon isn’t a fan of riding the park’s many attractions but she might finally break her longtime “no roller coaster”!
The country icon says she’s tempted to try the park’s brand-new $50 million ride, NightFlight Expedition.
Dolly says motion sickness — and worrying about her hair flying everywhere — have kept her off rides for years.
After playing four sold-out shows for more than 60,000 fans at Austin’s Moody Center, George Strait was honored with a permanent tribute backstage.
The venue renamed its back lounge “The Troubadour,” inspired by George’s 2008 album and hit song.
The room now features a vintage jukebox loaded with his music, plus a bronze plaque with his boot prints.
