A Swift Current man has been arrested after a search warrant produced drugs, weapons, and cash.

On May 15, Swift Current Municipal RCMP’s General Investigation Section searched a home on Prairie Sun Court in Swift Current. 

Officers located 227 grams of methamphetamine, 662 grams of dried cannabis, a sum of cash, drug trafficking paraphernalia, a stun baton, and several imitation firearms. 

Two individuals were arrested at the home, including 35-year-old Travis Lee Smith. He faces five charges.  

Smith appeared in Swift Current Provincial Court and was remanded into custody until his next appearance on May 22.  

The other individual arrested was released without charge.
