The Saskatoon Police Service Crime Reduction Team conducted two related arrests yesterday- one on a FLIX Bus south of Blackstrap Lake, and the other in the Rosewood neighbourhood.
First, investigators carried out the arrest of a 21-year-old man from Edmonton in the 2000 block of Stilling Lane just after 6:00pm.
CRT investigators then conducted a traffic stop on a FLIX Bus, and a 23-year-old male from Winnipeg was arrested.
Then, just before 10:30 p.m., investigators executed a search warrant for a home on Stilling Lane, a vehicle and a backpack. This produced 5.236 kilograms of fentanyl, 7.5 kilos of methamphetamine, 2.05 kilograms of cocaine, 8 liters of Gamma hydroxybutyrate, nearly $3000, and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.
The pair were transported to SPS Detention where they were held in custody until their court appearance scheduled for Friday.
