The City is reminding drivers to take caution through work zones as construction season ramps up.

A release from the City says, “These areas aren’t inconveniences to pass through quickly, they’re active job sites where people are doing skilled, often high-risk work.”

Some of the work taking place in Saskatoon includes repairing roads, maintaining water infrastructure, upgrading power systems and completing neighbourhood improvements.

Some tips from the City include follow posted signs and directions; do not move or ignore barriers, cones or tape; and reduce speed and eliminate distractions.
