Stanley Mission RCMP say they were called to several reports of assaults Thursday morning.

Three people were transported to hospital with serious injuries, and several individuals been taken into custody in relation to this ongoing investigation.

An RCMP news release says as this is an unfolding investigation, they are unable to provide any additional details at this time.

On Facebook, Stanley Mission Leadership reported the event as involving multiple stabbings, but they assured residents that there was no public threat to the community.

Stanley Mission is about five hours north of Saskatoon.
