A 26-year-old man was stabbed in the Fairhaven neighborhood early Thursday morning. 

At 2:00 a.m., police were called to the 3300 block of Fairlight Drive for a report of an injured person. Upon arrival, officers found the victim suffering from a stab wound. Through investigation, officers learned that a confrontation had occurred between two parties outside of a business before the victim was stabbed and the suspects left the scene. 

Members of the Serious Assault Unit are continuing to investigate.
