The Regina Police Service is investigating after security footage captured an arson  in the early morning hours on Saturday.  

At midnight, police were called to the 4600 block of Mutrie Crescent for a report of a vehicle fire in the driveway of a home. Upon arrival, officers observed the vehicle fully engulfed in flames.  

 Officers say they were able to extinguish the fire before the arrival of Regina Fire and Protective Services, and they assure that the vehicle was unoccupied at the time.  

The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact police.
