Battlefords RCMP advise that a suspect matching the description was taken into custody at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday
–Original Story–
North Battleford Comprehensive High School was under lockdown on Tuesday following the report of a suspicious person nearby, believed to be armed with a firearm.
Today at 3:30 p.m., RCMP were called to the scene. A Battlefords RCMP school liaison officer was already at the school when the initial report came in, and the school went into lockdown.

The suspect is described as male, wearing a white hoodie and black pants and possibly carrying a firearm. He was last seen in the area of 17th Avenue near 103rd Street and 104th Street in North Battleford. If anyone has information about a male matching this description, report it to police by calling 310-RCMP.
