The Regina Police Service has charged six people after a two-month investigation into thefts of trailers, landscaping equipment, recreational vehicles, electronics, tools, groceries and more.
In October, police were investigating at a farm west of Regina, when they found three stolen trailers. One trailer contained a snowmobile, snowblower, and car parts, and another one held an ATV.
Another trailer was found on November 7th, along with 5 snowmobiles. After further investigation, a trailer and skid steer were found on November 13th.
Along with the trailers and vehicles, the suspects were also stealing, trafficking and purchasing groceries, high end electronics, clothes and tools. The total value of the stolen items was over $260,000.
As a result of the investigation, six people are facing various charges related to the thefts. 33 year old Taylor Reid, 32 year old Mitchell MacPheat, 44 year old Alisen Gill, 47 year old Randy Heilman, 62 year old Fiorenzo Ricci, and 33 year old Dustin Ross. They have each made their first appearances in Regina Provincial Court between November 28th and December 4th.
