The Prince Albert Police Service Major Crimes Unit (MCU) has arrested a 26-year-old man in connection to the homicide of Wayne Keller this summer
On Monday 26-year-old William Hunt-Charles was arrested by members of the Prince Albert Police Service Major Crimes Unit at the Prince Albert Correctional Center where he was in custody on unrelated matters.
He has been charged with second degree murder in the death of Wayne Keller on July 29, 2025.
Hunt-Charles has also been charged with possessing a firearm while prohibited and possessing ammunition while prohibited.
In August Prince Albert Police released a photo asking the public to identify a witness in the area at the time of the homicide.
Police say there are no further suspects at this time and investigators do not anticipate any further charges.
