Two people were stabbed Wednesday afternoon in Saskatoon.

Around 3:40 p.m. police responded to the area of 7th Street East and Victoria Avenue after receiving a report of an injured person. Officers located a man suffering from stab wounds. He was transported to hospital by paramedics for treatment of what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers then followed a trail of blood to a home in the 400 block of 6th Street East; inside where they found a second male suffering from multiple stab wounds. Paramedics also transported the man to hospital with what were believed to be serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Members of the Serious Assault Unit, Forensic Identification Section, and Patrol are continuing to investigate.
