The Saskatoon Police Service Serious Assault Unit is investigating after officers responded to an assault with bear spray call and also found someone suffering from stab wounds. The call came in at 3:10 a.m. on Tuesday and officers located a girl suffering the effects of bear spray at 21st Street and Avenue M South.
A 14-year-old along with a 20-year-old woman were located nearby and police say they were in possession of bear spray.
However, responding officers also found an 18-year-old male in the parking lot of a business in the 1300 block of 22nd Street West who was suffering from stab wounds.
All toll three people are in custody ages 12, 14, and 20. The youngest in custody was also the person suffering the effects of bear spray. The stabbing victim was transported to hospital, and his condition is unknown.
