Two men were charged after Wollaston Lake RCMP caught them attempting to bring alcohol into the the community of Hatchet Lake First Nation by boat on October 13th.
Wollaston Lake RCMP used a Remotely Piloted Aircraft System to observe two boats dock in the community and saw the men unload several bags and place them in bush area before leaving.
The bags contained 44 bottles of hard liquor, 42 cans of beer, and around 40 cans and bottles of coolers.
The men, who are from Hatchet Lake First Nation, were charged with one count of selling, or offering to sell, display or keep beverage alcohol.
They will appear in Wollaston Lake court on November 12th.
