The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit executed a search warrant at a home in Saskatoon last Wednesday and seized electronic devices.

As a result of the investigation 50-year-old Shawn Warren Briscoe of Saskatoon was charged with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography and Make Child Pornography Available.

Briscoe appeared in court Tuesday and was released on conditions. His next court date is November 3rd in Saskatoon Provincial Court.

The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the Saskatchewan RCMP, Regina Police Service and Saskatoon Police Service. Their mandate is to investigate crimes involving the abuse and/or exploitation of children on the Internet.
