Warman RCMP arrested suspects at the beginning of September believed connected to a jewellery store robbery in Regina.
Shortly after noon on August 8th police responded to a business in the 400 block of Albert Street North where several glass jewellery display cases were smashed and emptied of their contents. The value of the stolen items is estimated to be upwards of $200,000.
In the past seven weeks, investigators have worked with various RCMP detachments in both Alberta and Saskatchewan, the Saskatoon Police Service and the Edmonton Police Service to locate and arrest those responsible.
When Warman RCMP arrested the first two suspects, a search of the vehicle they were in turned up evidence related to the robbery, forged documents and tools used to commit forgery. On September 16 a second adult male suspect was arrested in Edmonton.
Charged in the case are 40-year-old Waylon Tourangeau of no fixed address, 34-year-old Brianna Bouchie of Edmonton and 18-year-old Rylan Macphee of Edmonton.
