Fifth person charged in attempted murder of 11-year-old Regina girl

A fifth person is facing charges in relation to a firearms offence that left an 11-year-old girl seriously injured.

On August 11th, Regina Police officers were called to a home in the 1000 block of Edgar Street shortly after 2:00 a.m. When they arrived, they an 11-year-old girl with a gunshot wound. She was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

So far, 18-year-old Noah Pollock-Mayer, 41-year-old Michael Mayer, 20-year-old Anthony Nahbexie and 18-year-old Devon Nahbexie were all arrested and charged in relation to this investigation over the past two weeks.

The latest to be charged is 29-year-old Amber Jensen, who was arrested Thursday morning and appeared in court charged Accessory After the Fact and Conspiracy to Commit Murder.
