There’s been an increased police presence in Pierceland recently following a multi-day spree of vehicle thefts.
On September 16 and 17, officers learned a group of three to four people arrived at a business property and stole five vehicles, keys and a significant amount of equipment.
Then, on the 18th, at 11:40 p.m., Pierceland RCMP were alerted that there was another theft of a vehicle at the business. When a passerby tried to intervene, a firearm was shot at their vehicle, and the suspects tried to ram it.
Two of the suspect vehicles were located and fled from police, potentially into Alberta.
The investigation continues and anyone with relevant information is asked to report it to RCMP.
