Update: Lockdown over at Prince Albert high school

The lockdown is over, but Prince Albert police remain on scene at Wesmor Community High School in the West Flat Neighborhood.

Police were called in following a reporter of a gunshot ouside the school around 10:20. The school was place on lockdown as a precaution and was ended during the noon hour.

Police are on scene at Wesmor Community High School in Prince Albert after the report that a firearm was discharged nearby. The school was brought under lockdown for several hours.

The report came in at 10:20 a.m. that a gun was fired outside the school.

Police are continuing to investigate in relation to this incident, and any further updates will be provided as they become available.
