There was a bear spray incident Tuesday night in the downtown area—not far from the Remai Art Gallery.

Around 10 o’clock, police were called for a report of an injured person. She told officers that she was using a washroom in the area, when she was approached by two unknown women. There was a brief confrontation and the two women left. A man then entered the washroom, sprayed the victim with bear spray and hit her in the head.

All three fled the scene.
