One person was found dead, and another was found injured in the aftermath of a housefire in Regina on Sunday.

Regina Fire responded to the fire at 2:28 am on the 4000 block of 4th Avenue. An X post from Regina Fire confirms the fire was burning on the main floor of the unit and was able to be brought under control quickly. The injured person was treated by paramedics.

An investigation is currently underway.
