A 20-year-old Saskatoon man was arrested last week and charges with firearms offences.

Shortly after 1:30 a.m. on August 30, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of 20th Street East and 1st Avenue South. The stop resulted in the arrests of three people and the seizure of a .22 calibre rifle and $2,356.

Two of the three were released, but one man has been charged with four firearms-related offences and was found to have three outstanding warrants for his arrest.

He was transported to SPS Detention where he was seen before a Justice of the Peace and remanded for court Thursday, September 4th.
