Moose Jaw Police have charged a 63-year-old man with fraud-related charges following a lengthy investigation.
Timothy Hollinger was in court yesterday (Tuesday) and remanded in custody until his next appearance on Friday.
The charges were laid following a search of a residence last Friday. During the investigation, Moose Jaw Police found evidence that victims were encouraged to send money via e-transfers or wire transfer as part of an online loan application through fraudulent websites. Police say victims were from across Canada
Hollinger is charged with one count each of Fraud Over $5,000, Fraud Under $5,000 and Money Laundering.
Moose Jaw Police are investigating to determine if there are additional victims.
