The Saskatoon and District Labour Council is hosting its annual Labour Day BBQ tomorrow, continuing a tradition that began in 1999.
Members of the community are invited to Victoria Park for free food, live entertainment, and children’s activities.
A release from the SDLC says “Labour Day honours the vital contributions of workers and unions to the strength and well-being of our communities and country. From emergency rooms to factory floors, construction sites to government offices, classrooms to grocery stores, working people from all backgrounds keep our economy running.”
The event goes from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
