Drivers are reminded to stay vigilant while driving this Labour Day long weekend and watch for Orange Zones.
When approaching a construction zone, slowing down, obeying all signs and instructions will ensure everyone gets to their destination safely.
Several of these said orange zones inlcude a 15 km section of Highway 26 near Meota which is geting a $8.3 million paving makeover. The project will also see the installation of three turning lanes and a bypass lane. Culverts will be installed and the bridge over Jackfish River will be repaved. The project is scheduled for completion in October.
