A 14-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl are facing charges following an armed robbery using bear spray Thursday night.

At 10:40 p.m., police were called to the bus mall in the 300 block of 23rd Street East. Two girls, ages 12 and 16, told officers that they were approached by another group of teens who assaulted one of them with bear spray and stole a purse from the other one.

Three youths matched the suspect descriptions were found and arrested at 22nd Street and 1st Avenue.
