As Saskatoon police officers were conducting a walkthrough of Midtown Plaza Wednesday afternoon, they noticed a boy that was known to be banned from the shopping centre.
Officers say upon speaking with him, it became clear that there was something being concealed on the boy’s hip, and further investigation determined that it was a loaded imitation firearm.
Now, a 15-year-old boy has been arrested and charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace, unauthorized carry of a concealed weapon, and failure to comply with court-imposed conditions.
