Saskatoon Police have arrested a 36-year-old man after a 14-year-old boy was robbed on the street.
At 7:15 p.m. on Monday, police were called to the 300 block Johnson Crescent. The boy told officers that he was approached by two men. One man threw the victim to the ground, while the other showed what appeared to be a firearm before the pair stole the boy’s smart phone and fled in a Honda Civic.
Police found the car in the parking lot in the 3300 block of Fairlight Drive, and as they were taking the first man into custody, the second drove away. The vehicle was later found in the 100 block of Kensington Blvd, and the man is facing charges including Armed Robbery.
