The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) says a large amoung of drugs were seized last Saturday at the Saskatchewan Penitentiary.

The contraband items seized include heroin, cocaine, crystal methamphemine, THC and unidentified pills. The total estimated institutional value of these seizures is $326,725.

The police have been notified and the institution is investigating.

CSC has set up a telephone tip line for all federal institutions so that it may receive additional information about activities relating to security at CSC institutions.
