The Saskatoon Police Service says a traffic stop in a Saskatoon parking lot netted a stolen vehicle, weapons and drugs.
Around 10:40 p.m. Monday night a Saskatoon police officer identified a Mitsubishi that had been reported stolen in a restaurant parking lot in the 2200 block of 22nd Street West.
When a second officer arrived on scene they performed a high-risk traffic stop. Police say the officers located inside the vehicle an airsoft firearm, bear spray and 4.48 grams of cocaine.
A 28-year-old man is now facing charges including two counts each for Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace and Carrying a Concealed Weapon as well as one count of Possession of Cocaine. He was also found to be breaching court conditions.
