Saskatoon Police have issued charges against a 12-year-old girl after an incident involving a knife at a Saskatoon park yesterday.

At 3:45 p.m., police were called to the park in the 100 block of Campion Crescent. Witnesses say the girl threatened an 11-year-old-boy with a knife before the boy was able to run away. Officers found her at a nearby home with the knife.

The girl and the boy know each other, and no one was physically injured during the incident.
