There was a small debris fire on the west side of Saskatoon’s Sid Buckwould bridge this morning.
The call came in at 7:41 a.m. and firefighters could see smoke and flames coming from a small pile of debris under the bridge.
A portable water extinguisher was used to put out the fire. No one was hurt.
January 19th a fire beneath the University Bridge in Saskatoon caused a major disruption which included sewer line damage, bridge closures, and significant repairs.
