There has been another drug bust at the Saskatchewan Penitentiary in Prince Albert.
Last Thursday packages were seized which contained methamphetamine. The Correctional Service of Canada says the total estimated institutional value of the seizures is $150,750.
In a news release CSC says the police have been notified and the institution is investigating. Tools used to prevent drugs from getting inside the multi-level security federal institution include ion scanners and drug-detector dogs to search buildings, personal property, inmates, and visitors.
There was a drug bust at the same facility a week earlier when drugs seized included methamphetamine, hashish and MDMA with the total estimated institutional value estimated at $187,000.
