The Saskatoon Police Service, in a social media post, says they used a drone to find a man who broke into a home through the roof last weekend.
Around 1:15 a.m. on Sunday officers responded to the 1200 block of 14th Street East after a homeowner reported someone jumping on their roof and then moments later could hear noises inside the ceiling.
When police arrived, they found damage to the roof and a hole big enough for someone to fit through. A drone was deployed into the attic and police say a 31-year-old man was spotted trying to hide in the insulation.
Police say he was eventually removed through the home’s attic access and is now facing charges of Break and Enter and Mischief.
