The Prince Albert Police Service arrested and charged one man with aggravated assault in connection to a stabbing that occurred Tuesday evening.
At approximately 8:40 p.m. police responded to a weapons call in the 200 block of 15th Street West.
Police located an injured 25-year-old man outside the business who was treated by Parkland Ambulance and transported to hospital for further medical care.
After viewing video surveillance where a suspect male was observed approaching the victim and pulling something out of his waistband then he allegedly assaulted the victim before fleeing on foot.
Officers located and arrested a man matching the description of the suspect. The arrest took place in the 3300 block of 2nd Avenue West and police say when they searched him, they located and seized two knives.
A 30-year-old man was in court this morning charged with aggravated assault.
